The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Rust Engineer to help design, build, and scale mission-critical software systems. You will work closely with a small team of highly skilled engineers, contributing to core infrastructure, performance optimisation, distributed systems design, and operational reliability. This position is well suited to engineers who enjoy ownership, solving difficult technical challenges, and working in an environment where engineering quality and performance are paramount. Responsibilities Design and develop high-performance production systems in Rust. Build and maintain distributed services with a focus on scalability, reliability, and low latency. Optimise system performance across compute, networking, and storage layers. Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to improve system architecture. Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decision-making. Improve observability, monitoring, and operational tooling.
