Golang Developer (West Sussex)Location: West Sussex- Hybrid 3 days * YOU MUST HAVE FULL RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK - SPONSORSHIP IS NOT PROVIDED.*DescriptionWe're looking for a diligent Golang Software Engineer to join a global banking organisation working on their Loyalty and Benefits platform. This is a modern microservice-based system designed to handle all aspects of the customer experience globally, built using technologies such as Golang, Kafka and Docker.As part of a Scrum team, you'll design, build and enhance Back End features within the Account domain, collaborating with engineers across the platform to improve performance, reliability and scalability. The environment encourages innovation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain Back End services and APIs using GolangWork within microservice architectures and asynchronous messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ etc.)Collaborate in a Scrum framework to deliver tested, automated solutions through CI/CD pipelinesApply test-driven development practices across unit, component, functional and integration testingContribute to continuous integration, deployment and testing processesSkills and experience:Strong Golang backend programming experience REST and gRPC API developmentDocker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)Kafka, Postgres, GraphQL and version control tools such as Git or SVNFamiliarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, TDD and BDD experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Rally or JIRA Job Title: Golang Developer - ( Hybrid In West Sussex ) Location: West Sussex, UK Job Type: Contract Trading as TEKsystems.
